Violin Audition Game ("the App", "we", "us") is a violin sight-reading trainer for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

The short version: we collect no personal information and never transmit any data from your device to us or any third party.

🎙 Microphone Access

The App requests access to your device's microphone solely to perform real-time pitch detection — detecting which note you are playing on your violin and giving you immediate feedback.

• Audio is processed entirely on your device in real time.
• No audio is ever recorded, stored, or saved — not even temporarily.
• No audio or pitch data is transmitted off your device.
• Microphone access is only active while you are actively using the tuner or a play-along feature.

🚫 Data We Do Not Collect

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Name, email address, or any contact information
• Location data (GPS or network-based)
• Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, or serial number)
• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
• Crash reports sent to third-party services
• Advertising identifiers
• Health or biometric data
• Payment or financial information

📱 Local Storage

The App may save minimal preferences to your device (such as your selected difficulty level or volume settings) using iOS standard local storage. This data:

• Never leaves your device.
• Is not accessible to us or any third party.
• Can be erased by deleting the App.

🤝 Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics platforms, social login providers, or crash reporting services.

No data — of any kind — is shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third party.

💳 In-App Purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive, process, or store any payment card details or billing information. All purchase transactions are governed by Apple's Terms of Service.

👶 Children's Privacy

Because the App collects no personal data whatsoever, it is safe for users of all ages, including children under 13. The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable laws.

🔄 Changes to This Policy
